Yasin Ali, Debhata (Satkhira) Correspondent: The non-governmental development organization Social Agency for Welfare and Advancement in Bangladesh (CHWAB) has distributed free deep tube wells among 100 people.
A discussion meeting was held at Debhata Upazila of Satkhira District on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at 11 am to distribute tube wells in the middle Parulia Biswas Bari at the desperate efforts of SM Rasheduzzaman, Chairman of Chawab to provide arsenic free water to the helpless and destitute people. Chairman of Debhata Upazila Parishad Alhaj Mujibur Rahman was the chief guest at the function presided over by Fair Mission Director Quader Mohiuddin.
Debhat Upazila Executive Officer ABM Khalid Hossain Siddiqui inaugurated the program.
Moniruzzaman Moni, General Secretary of Debhata Upazila Branch of Bangladesh Awami League was present as special guest.
Also present were Debhata Upazila Parishad Vice Chairman Habibur Rahman Sabuj, Debhata Upazila Parishad Women Vice Chairman GM Sparsh, Awami Juba League Debhata Upazila Branch President Mizanur Rahman Minnur, Parulia Union UP Member Golam Faruk, UP Member Rabiul Islam, UP Member Nazrul Islam. , President of the Fair Mission Habibul Islam Habib, General Secretary of the Fair Mission Abu Raihan and other local dignitaries and beneficiaries were present.
It may be mentioned that Chawab has already completed the excavation of 30 deep tube wells in different areas of Debhata upazila. At present more than 100 deep tube well distribution activities have been officially inaugurated.
