নিজস্ব প্রতিনিধি : ক্রীড়া পরিদপ্তরের বার্ষিক ক্রীড়া কর্মসূচি ২০২২-২৩ এর আওতায় সাতক্ষীরা জেলা ক্রীড়া অফিসের উদ্যোগে মাস ব্যাপি সাঁতার প্রশিক্ষণের উদ্বোধন করা হয়েছে। আজ ২০ মে ২০২৩ রোজ শনিবার বেলা ১১টায় সাতক্ষীরা মিশন সরকারি প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয় প্রাঙ্গণে জেলা ক্রীড়া অফিসের আয়োজনে সাতক্ষীরা জেলা ক্রীড়া কর্মকর্তা মো. মাহবুবুর রহমানের সভাপতিত্বে উদ্বোধনী অনুষ্ঠানে প্রধান অতিথি হিসেবে বক্তব্য রাখেন সাতক্ষীরা জেলা ক্রীড়া সংস্থার যুগ্ম সাধারণ সম্পাদক সাইদুর রহমান শাহীন।
উদ্বোধনী অনুষ্ঠানে বিশেষ অতিথি হিসেবে বক্তব্য রাখেন জেলা ক্রীড়া সংস্থার যুগ্ম সাধারণ সম্পাদক মীর তাজুল ইসলাম রিপন, নির্বাহী সদস্য খন্দকার আরিফ হাসান প্রিন্স, শেখ হেদায়েতুল ইসলাম প্রমুখ। মাস ব্যাপি সাঁতার প্রশিক্ষণের উদ্বোধক হিসেবে বক্তব্য রাখেন সাতক্ষীরা মিশন সরকারি প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয়ের প্রধান শিক্ষক শামীমা খাতুন। সাতক্ষীরা সদরের ৮টি শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠানের ৩০জন শিক্ষার্থী এ প্রশিক্ষণে অংশ নিয়েছে। এসময় বিভিন্ন শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠানের শিক্ষক ও শিক্ষার্থীরা উপস্থিত ছিলেন।

MM Saheb Ali, Asashuni (Satkhira) Correspondent : The final match of Sadar sub-zone of 50th School, Madrasa and Technical Education Cricket Competition has been held at Asashuni.

The first match between Chapra High School and Asashuni Government Secondary School was played yesterday morning. Chapra High School won the toss and elected to bat first. They lost 9 wickets in 10 overs and scored 74 runs. In reply, Asashuni Government Secondary School lost 3 wickets in 6: 1 overs and reached the target. Asashuni Government Secondary vs. Kodanda Secondary faced off in the second match in the afternoon under the direction of Sports Teachers Anisur Rahman, Ashadul Haque, Arif Billahar and Samitosh Roy. Kodanda Madhyamik won the toss and elected to bat first. In reply, Asashuni reached the target of winning by just 3 wickets in 8: 1 overs.

Imam Hossain Shakib of Asashuni was selected Man of the Match.

It may be mentioned that the competition will be held on January 15 at Asashuni Government Secondary School ground and on January 18 at the upazila level with the participation of the winners in the finals of 6 sub-zones.

Athletics and sports competitions were held in Asashuni

 

Asashuni (Satkhira) Correspondent : The 50th School, Madrasa and Sadar Education Sub-Zone Games of Athletics and Sports Competition has been held in Asashuni.

The game was held on Saturday 15th January 2022 at Asashuni Government Secondary School ground.

In athletics, boys’ 100, 200 and 600 m sprint, running, long and high jump, sphere, discus and rain throw were held in large groups. Boys in middle group, 100, 200m sprint, long and high jump splash and boys in small group 100 and 200m sprint, long and high jump, boys cycling, girls in large group 100 and 200m sprint, long jump, splash and rope The jump is held.

In the badminton competition, Asashuni Secondary Girls ‘School team defeated Asashuni Government Secondary School girls’ team and became the sub-zone champion.

In the badminton boys group, Asashuni Government Secondary School team defeated Chapra Secondary School team 2-0 to reach the final.

In the final, Asashuni Government Secondary School team defeated Godara Al Madani Dakhil Madrasa team 2-0 and became the zone champion.

Asashuni (Satkhira) Correspondent : The final match of Sadar Sub-Zone of the 50th School, Madrasa and Technical Education Cricket Competition has been held at Asashuni.

The game was organized on Thursday 13th January 2022 at Asashuni Government Secondary School ground.

In the first match of the day, Chapra High School faced Asashuni Government Secondary School. Chapra High School lost 9 wickets in 10 overs and scored 74 runs. In reply, Asashuni Government Secondary School lost 3 wickets in 8.1 overs and reached the target.

In the second match, Asashuni Government Secondary School and Kodanda Secondary School faced each other. Kodanda lost all their wickets in the allotted 10 overs and scored 69 runs. In reply, Asashuni Government Secondary reached the target of winning by only 3 wickets in 8.1 overs and became the sub zone champion.

Sports teachers Anisur Rahman, Ashadul Haque, Arif Billah and Samitosh Roy conducted the game.

Upazila level games will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at the same ground with the participation of the winners of the Athletics Competition and the finals of 6 sub-zones at the Upazila level on January 17.

From Moniruzzaman (Mohsin), Nalta, Kaliganj, Satkhira : The traditional Nalta High School ground under Kaliganj upazila of Satkhira district was organized by Navkiran Foundation and under the patronage of Simra Agro Limited. Cricket has the honor of being the eleventh champion.

Hasan, the captain of Sakhipur City Digital Cricket XI, decided to bat after winning the toss.

After losing 6 wickets in the allotted 15 overs, the team was able to score 146 runs thanks to the 51 runs of captain Hasan.

In reply, Nalta Sharif Bandhumahal Cricket XI, comprising of Rajshahi, Jessore, Khulna, Satkhira and local players under the supervision of Badrul Ahsan Babu, set a target of 148 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 14.1 overs and became the undefeated champions of the tournament with 151 runs.

From the guests, the players including the team manager of the winning team received Rs. 20,000 from Nabakiran Foundation’s Champion Trophy and Simra Agro Limited.

Runners-up Sakhipur City Digital Lab Cricket XI was awarded Rs 15,000 by Abdus Sabur, runner-up trophy of Navkiran Foundation and suppliers of FourL and advisor of Navkiran Foundation in the final match.

At the beginning of the final game, the inaugural address was delivered on a mobile phone from Dhaka – Member of Parliament for the local Satkhira-3 constituency, Chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Ministry of Science and Technology, former Health Minister Alhaj Professor Dr. AFM Ruhul Haque.

Abir was declared Man of the Match by the winning team and received a trophy and a prize of Rs 2,000 from Simra Agro Ltd.

Al-Amin, a rising player in the runners-up City Digital Lab Cricket XI, received a total of Rs 7,000, including a trophy and Rs 5,000 in cash and Rs 2,000 from the public, as Man of the Series in the tournament. Besides, runners-up Azizul Islam received the award for highest run-getter and highest six.

Prominent social worker and president of Nalta Union Awami League Alhaj Md. Anishuzzaman Khokon was present as a guest in the presidency – Professor Dr. SM Abdul Wahab, Principal Tofail Ahmed, prominent social worker and politician Tariqul Islam, lecturer and journalist Md. Moniruzzaman (Mohsin), headmaster Md. Anwarul Haque, President of Navkiran Foundation Ahsan Kabir Tutul, General Secretary Kazi Rafid Ahsan, A Jinm Rakibul Islam Ratan of Simra Agro Limited, Dr. Shankar Kumar Pal, Lecturer Kamrul Islam, Deputy Assistant Engineer Ashraful Hasan Tutul, Bank Officer Belit Kumar, teacher Sheikh Alamgir Kabir, Ramzan Hossain Babu and others.

Meherullah Al-Ghalib and Ismail Hossain Khokon officiated the match.
