Mihir Ranjan Biswas, Khulna Correspondent : Khanjahan Ali police arrested a man with 4 bottles of domestic whiskey at 11 pm on December 31 during a routine search at Pather Bazar police check post under Khulna Khanjahan Ali police station. SI Rakibul Islam, in-charge of Pather Bazar police outpost, along with allied forces searched the suspect’s bag and arrested the accused along with four bottles of domestic whiskey in his bag.
The arrested is Akash Sheikh, 20, son of late Ukil Uddin of Terkhada Mokampur Sheikhbari area.
Khanjahan Ali Police Station Officer-in-Charge Prabir Kumar Biswas admitted the incident and said that a case has been filed in the police station under Narcotics Control Act. Case No. 01 dated 01/01/22.
