Minister for Environment, Forests and Climate Change Md. Shahab Uddin will be the chief guest at the inaugural function of the conference on 19 February.
Deputy Minister of the same ministry Begum Habibun Nahar will be present as special guest.
University Vice-Chancellor Prof. will preside. Mahmud Hossain.
Welcoming remarks will be made by the Organizing Secretary of the Conference, Professor Dr. Abdullah Harun Chowdhury and the convener of the organizing committee of the conference will thank Professor. Dilip Kumar Dutt.
At the conference, the country’s renowned environmentalist Professor. Ainun Nishat and Dr. Apart from Ali Reza Khan, local and foreign experts from India, Pakistan, Nepal, UAE, Sweden, scientists will participate in the conference physically and virtually.
The conference is expected to feature 8 keynote papers and 125 research articles.
Research articles by 60 young researchers will also be presented at the conference.
Deputy Minister for Environment, Forests and Climate Change Begum Habibun Nahar will be the chief guest on the concluding day of the conference on February 20.
The participating scientists will visit the Sundarbans and the coastal Jaymoni area in the southwestern part of the country, which has been most affected by climate change this afternoon. At the end of this conference a recommendation garland will be made.
