Azizur Rahman, Keshabpur (Jessore) Correspondent : A mass drama has been held in Keshabpur to prevent child marriage, violence against women and violence against women. The mass drama was held at Altapole Daspara on Monday night, December 26, 2021 at the initiative of BRAC. Seeing the drama, the men and women of the area vowed to stop child marriage.
Pratasha Gananatak Dal staged dramas under social empowerment and legal protection programs. BRAC playwrights Alok Basu Bapi, Inderjit Basu, Tacher Ali, Palash Das, Kanika Adhikari, Dipu Das, Rocky Alamgir, Satyajit Das took part in the play. Supriya Das said after watching the mass drama, if such dramas are staged in every neighborhood then it will play a role in preventing child marriage, violence against women and violence against women. Drama director Alok Basu Bapi said that after watching the 45-minute drama, the men and women of the area took a vow to stop child marriage.
BRAC official Nazmun Nahar said mass dramas would be held in different villages of Keshabpur to prevent child marriage, violence against women and violence against women.
