Tala (Satkhira) Correspondent: Genocide Day has been celebrated in Tala organized by the upazila administration.
A discussion meeting on the occasion of Genocide Day was held at Tala Upazila Parishad Hall on Friday, March 25, 2022 at the initiative of the Upazila administration on the occasion of the day.
Chairman of Tala Upazila Parishad Ghosh Sanat Kumar addressed the meeting as the chief guest under the chairmanship of Upazila Nirbahi Officer Prashant Kumar Biswas.
Speakers as special guests were Enamul Islam, president of Bakshis district branch, Alauddin Joarddar, former deputy commander of Upazila Muktijoddha Command, Mir Zillur Rahman, central leader of JSD and others.
On the occasion of the day, painting, essay competition, documentary exhibition on genocide, special munajat in memory of martyrs and symbolic black out program were celebrated at 9 pm.
