SM Ahsan Habib, Asashuni (Satkhira) Bureau : Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s Homecoming Day has been celebrated in Asashuni.

On Monday evening, January 10, 2022, a discussion meeting was held at the party office of Krishak League on the initiative of the newly elected chairman of Asashuni Sadar Union. The meeting was chaired by Juba League leader Gausul Azam and was chaired by newly elected UP chairman SM Hossainuzzaman Hossain. Highlighting the significance of Bangabandhu’s Homecoming Day, General Secretary of Juba League and Member of District Council M. Mahitur Rahman, Sadar Union Awami League President Abdullah Baki Bachchu, former UP Chairman SM Selim Reza, Upazila Jatiya Party Organizing Secretary Abul Bashar, Swechchhasebak League President SM Saheb Ali, Babu, Chhatra League leader Ashrafuzzaman Taj, Julian and others.

On the other hand, soon after the discussion, a separate greeting procession led by Asmaul Hussain, former president of Asashuni Upazila Chhatra League and Moniruzzaman Bipul, leader of Labor League, marched around different roads of Sadar. Upazila and Union Chhatra League leaders participated in the procession.
