Tala (Satkhira) Correspondent : Two persons were killed and one injured in a road accident at Aladipur Banshtala of Satkhira Tala upazila on Khulna-Paikgachha road.
According to police, three persons were seriously injured when a Khulna-bound Khulna-bound Khulna Metro-J-11-0024 bus collided head-on with a motorcycle coming from Paikgachha at Aladipur Banshtala on the Khulna-Paikgachha road at around 4 pm on Sunday.
The injured were identified as Rashid Moral, 55, son of late Jalal Moral of Atalia village in adjoining Dumuria upazila, Zillur Rahman Moral, 56, son of late Sattar Moral of the same area and Abu, son of late Mozam Moral of the same area. Taleb Moral (65) was seriously injured.
Police have seized the motorcycle and the deadly bus.
Tala Police Station OC Abu Jihad Fakhrul Alam Khan confirmed the death of two people including the detainee of the deadly bus.
