Tala (Satkhira) Correspondent: The 91st four-day Sadhu Sammelan has started in Tala.
Today, on Friday, March 25, 2022, at 2 pm, the Sadhu Conference was officially inaugurated at the residence of Fakir through Ezahar Ali, a late spiritual devotee of Shibpur, Tala.
Sadhakputra Upazila Japar President and former UP Chairman SM Nazrul Islam presided over the function while Upazila Parishad Chairman Ghosh Sanat Kumar was the chief guest.
Special guests were Tala Thana Officer-in-Charge (OC) Abu Jihad Fakhrul Alam Khan, Officer-in-Charge (Investigation) Abul Kalam Azad, General Secretary of Upazila Japar SM Alauddin.
Journalist SM Hasan Ali Bachchu was also present as a guest. Second Officer of Tala Police Station SI Abu Kausar, Joint General Secretary of Tala Upazila Jatiya Party Sirajul Islam, Journalist SM Jahangir Hasan, Mir Qayyum Islam Dablu, Organizing Secretary Sheikh Habibur Rahman Habib, Dr. Abul Bashar, Upazila Jatiya Chhatra Samaj President Nazrul Islam Raju, Jatiya Tarun Party Central Leader and Upazila Sechchasebak Party Organizing Secretary BM Bablur Rahman, Student Leader Borhan Uddin and other devotees from different regions, leaders of different political parties and journalists were present.
The event is being held under the overall supervision of Sadhak’s grandson journalist SM Akramul, Sadhak Family and Human Development Foundation.
In his welcome speech, Sadhakputra, former UP chairman Nazrul Islam said, worship of the Creator and service to creation. Human service is the absolute religion. Non-violence is the ultimate religion. I will pray for the loss of people by fasting prayers. These prayers will not be accepted by Allah. On the Day of Resurrection, those prayers will not be the means of salvation.
He said that this sadhu conference is organized every year with the devotees of all religions for the welfare of human beings. My late father started it 91 years ago. It continues even after death. Devotees of the four sects will discuss the biography of the Prophet and the Prophet (peace be upon him). Avoid various inconsistencies in the society and forget the differences and pray for all. Incoming guests spoke from the perspective of Islam.
The 91st Sadhu Sammelan will end on March 29 (Tuesday) morning with the final munajat.
