Tripti Ranjan Sen, Paikgachha (Khulna) Correspondent : A two-day science fair and science olympiad competition organized by Paikgachha Upazila Administration on the occasion of Science and Technology Week has been completed.
On this occasion, Olympiad was organized in the girls school on Wednesday 29th December 2021. Here students from different institutions take part. Science and technology projects from various educational institutions were displayed at the two-day science fair organized at the Upazila Parishad auditorium on Wednesday and Thursday. At the same place, a seminar and prize distribution titled “Loss of education of students addicted to smart phones” was held.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer Mamtaz Begum presided over the function and Upazila Parishad Chairman Anwar Iqbal Montu was the chief guest. Welcoming remarks were made by Assistant Programmer Mridul Kanti Das. Special guests were Principal Mihir Baran Mandal, Upazila Agriculture Officer Jahangir Alam, Secondary Education Officer Joynal Abdin. Students Saima Tasnim Tisha, Devjit Mandal and Ratna Akhter Riya spoke.
