Voters exercised their voting right uninterruptedly on Saturday 08 May 2022 at Satkhira District Bar Association building from 8 am to 4 pm. After the counting of votes at 11:30 pm, the election results were announced by the chairman of the election management committee Ed. Sheikh Saidur Rahman. In the tri-annual election, 21 candidates have been elected with 6 candidates contesting against 13 posts.
Out of a total of 2,134 voters, 1,008 exercised their franchise.
The results of the presidency. Arshad Ali Gazi Khoka was re-elected with 650 votes, while his nearest rival Mir Moniruzzaman got 282 votes. Md. Vice-president. Shahidul Islam 351 votes and Md. Mukul Hossain was elected with 328 votes. General Secretary. Zahidur Rahman was re-elected with 975 votes, while his nearest rival Sheikh Mamuna Rashid got 18 votes. Asadur Rahman Khan was elected as the joint secretary with 481 votes, his nearest rival Md. Ashrafuzzaman got 151 votes. Co-joint secretary. Ibrahim Sardar was elected with 345 votes, while his nearest rival Kamal got 28 votes. Md. Organizational secretary. Milon Hossain was elected with 490 votes, while his rival Nazmul Bahar got 193 votes. Khandaker Badiuzzaman has been elected to the organizational position, has been elected publicity secretary. Mintu, Babul Hossain has been elected co-publicity secretary. Shamimur Rahman Saddam has been elected Social Welfare Secretary and Akhtaruzzaman has been elected Office Secretary. Anisur Rahman has been elected as the treasurer. Md. Has been elected as an executive member. Nur Alam Gazi, Md. Billal Hossain, Sheikh Harun, Sheikh Farooq Hossain, Md. Akhter Hossain, Md. Motahar Hossain, Md. Hamidul Islam and Md. Azizul Islam.
