Masud Parvez, a Kaliganj correspondent of Daily Drishtipat, The Editors and today’s newspaper, was seriously injured in a road accident.
He was seriously injured when he was hit by an engine van on the Kaliganj-Shyamnagar road in Hajampara area on his way to the upazila town on a motorcycle from his home in Pania village of the upazila at around 10:30 am on Saturday, January 08, 2022. His right arm was broken. He also sustained injuries to his right knee, left wrist and head.
Upon receiving the news, the members of Kaliganj Fire Service quickly rescued him and sent him to the Upazila Health Complex. As the injury was serious, he was referred to Satkhira Medical College Hospital. Family members, including his colleagues, rushed him to Satkhira Medical College Hospital and arranged for his treatment. He is currently undergoing treatment at the Orthopedics Department of Satkhira Medical College Hospital.
Meanwhile, reporters from various electronic media, print media and online news portals rushed to the Medical College Hospital to inquire about Captain Masood Parvez’s injuries.
