A scholarship worth Tk 3 crore is going to be inaugurated at Northern University of Business and Technology Khulna (NUBT). This scholarship is starting in the current academic year under the name of “Sheikh Abu Naser Merit Scholarship and Begum Razia Naser Gold Medal”. The scholarship will be officially inaugurated on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at 12 noon in the auditorium of the university and the foundation stone of the permanent campus of the university will be laid. Honorable Member of Parliament for Khulna-2 constituency Sheikh Salahuddin, MP will be present as the chief guest on the occasion. Founder of Northern University of Business and Technology Khulna, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Abu Yusuf Md. Khulna Deputy Commissioner will be present as a special guest in the presidency of Abdullah. Moniruzzaman Talukdar. Also present will be the Registrar of Northern University of Business and Technology Khulna. Md. Shah Alam, joint convener of Khulna Metropolitan Juba League and president of Khulna Metropolitan Chhatra League Sheikh Shahjalal Hossain Sujan. It is to be mentioned that Northern University of Business and Technology Khulna has been conducting activities in the temporary campus at Shivbari corner of Khulna city since 2016. As per the policy of the University Grants Commission, after the approval and other activities for the permanent campus, the construction of permanent campus in the sub-center of Khulna city is going to start in full swing.
