The Deputy Secretary was speaking as the chief guest while distributing signaling equipment among CPP women volunteers on Thursday afternoon, December 30, 2021 at Asashuni Muktijoddha Complex Bhaban for organizing Cyclone Preparedness Program (CPP). He added that the number of CPP volunteers in the disaster prone areas of the country today is equal to that of men and women. Thoughts were afoot to bring CPP volunteers under the allowance but in that case the name volunteer came up. That is why the government is determined to increase the other benefits of every CPP. She commended the women for their willingness to work for disaster relief on behalf of the CPP.
