Press Release : Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET) has celebrated Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s Homecoming Day with due dignity. To mark the day, a rally was held at 12:30 pm with the participation of teachers, officials, employees and students of the university. The rally started from the front of the administrative building and went around the campus and ended at Bangabandhu Square by paying homage to the portrait of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

At this time, the Dean and Vice-Chancellor (routine duties) of the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the University, Prof. Dr. Md. Saiful Islam, Dean of the Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering. KM Azharul Hasan, Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Prof. Md. Golam Quader and Registrar (Acting) Engineer of the University Md. Anisur Rahman Bhuiyan along with directors of various institutes, department heads, directors, hall provosts, department / branch heads were present.

Besides, the members of the Officers Association paid homage to the portrait of the Father of the Nation under the leadership of Engineer Md. Aslam Parvez, President of Kuwait Officers Association and Engineer Md. Ruhul Amin, General Secretary.

After that, Gaurav, an advisor to the Central Committee of ’71 and Professor of the Department of Civil Engineering of the University. Led by Kazi ABM Mohiuddin, Gaurab ’71, President of Kuwait Branch and Assistant Professor of Urban and Regional Planning Department Md. Ejaz-ul-Jannat, General Secretary Engineer Md.
