Benazir Ahmed, president of the selection committee and upazila co-operative officer, announced the schedule at the association’s own office on Tuesday morning, December 14, 2021. According to the schedule, nomination papers will be distributed on December 26 and 27 from 11 am to 2 pm. Submission and acceptance of nomination papers on December 29 from 10 am to 3 pm. Nomination papers will be screened and draft list of candidates will be released on December 30 at 11 am. On 2nd and 3rd January, the appeal of the opposition against the draft list of nomination papers or regarding the validity of the candidates. Hearing and disposal of appeals on January 4, 5 and 6. The final list of valid candidates will be released on January 9 at 12 noon. Withdrawal of candidature on January 10 from 11 am to 1 pm and allotment of symbols from 1 pm to 1:30 pm and publication of final list of candidates Voting will be held on January 24 from 10 am to 4 pm.
Members of the selection committee Abu Saeed and Sheikh Maruf-uz-Zaman, president of the association Mortaza Zaman Alamgir Rulu, general secretary Ilyas Hossain, vice-president GM Shukuruzzaman, treasurer Mrityunjay Sardar, director ATM Nahiduzzaman, Moinul Hossain and Yusuf Ali were present on the occasion.
