Yasin Ali, Debhata (Satkhira) Correspondent : A new committee of Debhata Reporters Club has been formed consisting of journalists working in Debhata. Dr. Ahiduzzaman has been elected president and Rafiqul Islam general secretary of the committee.

On the last day of 2021, at 10:30 am on Friday, a meeting was held at the office of Debhata Reporters Club in Debhata Upazila with the participation of various media workers working in the upazila.

The meeting was chaired by senior journalist Dr. Ahiduzzaman.

Dr. Ahiduzzaman was elected President and Rafiqul Islam was elected General Secretary on the basis of the views of various print, electronic and other media journalists working at the meeting. Other leaders of the committee are Senior Vice President Akhtar Hossain Dablu, Vice President Mehedi Hasan Kajal, Joint General Secretary Ruhul Amin, Organizing Secretary Ashraful Islam, Treasurer Abir Hossain Lyon, Literary Promotion and Publication Secretary Tareq Monwar, Sports and Cultural Secretary Amirul. Islam, Office Secretary Abdullah Al Mamun, Yasin Ali, RK Bappa, Rashidul Alam Rashid, Omar Farooq Mukul, Saiful Islam, GM Abbasuddin and Ashraful Alam Badal are the executive members.

It is hoped that the committee will play a role in working as a mirror for the welfare of the journalists and the society.
