S, M Ahsan Habib, Asashuni (Satkhira) Bureau: Asashuni Kadakati has exchanged views with Tapsi Rani Adhikari, a female member candidate in the UP elections.
During an exchange of views at the house of her husband Montu Adhikari in Kadakati union of the upazila on Monday, December 13, 2021, she said, “I am living a long family life by getting married while still a college student.” In addition to all the work of family life, I have been providing various services to the people of the area for the last 12/14 years due to my employment in various NGOs. We have provided ducks, chickens, cows and goats for self-employment of hundreds of helpless women from self-initiated funds provided by various projects of NGOs and from their own funds. As a result of the success of the work, I have been the President of Kadakati Golap Mahila Unnayan Sangstha, an organization formed by NGO World Vision, and I have been performing the editorial duty of the Social Entrepreneurship Forum, which was formed with progress. Through my leadership association, I have been providing self-employment assistance to women members of helpless, poor families for a long time by providing loan assistance. As a result, the wheel of fortune of many families providing support and assistance has turned. Besides, for a long time I have been the companion of birth, death and happiness and sorrow of the people of my constituency. In order to increase the quality of service with the request, love and cooperation of the people of my area, I am contesting for the post of member in wards 7, 8 and 9 reserved for Kadakati in the forthcoming UP elections.
“I would like to say beyond the criticism of the contesting candidates that if they win the election, the government will provide safe drinking water, alleviate water logging, provide assistance to the real homeless and landless people in providing houses and land, VGF, VGD, widows, elderly, disabled, maternity cards and other government authorities.” We will provide assistance to the victims. He pledged to work side by side with the oppressed, downtrodden and helpless people of the area with overall cooperation in strengthening the activities of the community clinics to bring health services to the people in remote areas.
